Fala & Co. was created by artist Kathryn Dziadowicz to blend her love for the ocean and art into one.

Growing up in Long Island, NY, much of Kathryn’s childhood was spent exploring local beaches, swimming in the ocean, and searching for sea glass.

While away at college, Kathryn stumbled upon acrylic ocean wave pours. That same day Kathryn purchased all the necessary supplies and got to work in her college bedroom. After a few months of using acrylics, Kathryn began to experiment with epoxy resin and was immediately enthralled. In the past five years, Fala & Co. has transformed from a pipe dream to an extension of who Kathryn is.

Every piece of wood is hand-painted with professional-grade acrylics before receiving several layers of top-quality pigment and epoxy resin creating depth in the foaming of the waves and sand on the shores. Letting go of the minute details and precision of her prior teaching, the motion of the ocean shines through in her one-of-a-kind oceanscapes.

Fala & Co. offers a variety of functional, multi-purpose art for any ocean lover in your life. Whether you’re gifting an item for a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or something special for you Fala & Co. offers a range of products including magnets, ring dishes, coasters, wall art, serving boards, and more. Each piece is made with attention to detail and love in Kathryn’s studio in Dover, NH.

the origin behind the name

the origin behind the name –

We all have meals that we love a smidge more than others, and for me, Polish food is just that. Whether it’s kielbasa, homemade perogies, or blintzes, the thought alone brings back sweet childhood nostalgia. So many of my favorite days growing up ended with eating Polish classics around my Grandpa’s dining room table. When it came time to rebrand my business in 2023, I knew I wanted to incorporate my Polish roots. Fala is polish for “wave” merging my love for the ocean and my heritage.
